ATI Eazyshare integration possible?
Is there any feasability / possibility that Snapstream can somehow integrate with the new ATI Eazyshare Client / Server architecture?
Meaning that on an Eazyshare I could use the Snapstream EPG and PVR functionality through the Eazyshare server? I understand that Nvidia is developing a similar architecture in their newest multimedia suite, so the concept / architecture might apply there as well (though I assume the two would have radically different implementations). For anyone readind who might not be aware, yesterday ATI launched Eazyshare, an ATI specific capability that allows you to use any ATI 7000 + Video card as a client against an ATI All in Wonder equipped server for streaming live TV, PVR functions: Quote:
The two most important missing features from Snapstream for me are multiple tuners and a client / server architecture (much like Sage or ATI Eazyshare). On a related topic: From a Marketing / Pricing perspective, on a general note - and specific to the above - I think it would an opportunity to offer discounts on subsequent liscence purchase against a single Snapstream.net account? EG: I would pay 60% price for Snapsteram on my daughter's PC who, ideally, was only a "client" on top of Easyshare (or a Snapstream proproetay client). |
