Bother installing ATI MMC?
Since I have SS and a Hauppauge WinTV PVR250, do I need to bother installing ATI's MMC? I am doing a clean install and dont want to install anything I don't need.

agreed. i've never installed mmc and haven't missed it a bit. this was with both aiw as capture card and now with the pvr (and the aiw as the display card only).

Cool, I wont bother then. I am using a Real Magic XCard for hardware DVD decoding so I dont even need the ATI for that!

I just wanted to comment that ATI software is EVIL. I continue to define WMP as my default video viewer and it continues to take back control and reset all my files without my permission.
Its pure EVIL I tell you. -Brett
