One card helping another
I recently upgrade my video card from a voodoo3 3000 to an ATI Radeon 7200 64MB and have noticed a feature now in snapstream that was not there before (at least not that i noticed). I also have a ati wonder VE that can capture TV.
I have the option of hardware encoding but can I use this only if I'm actually bringing the signal in on this card or can the card it get the signal from the other card and then use the hardware encoding it can do? Obvious I would love if the Radeon could do the encoding but if it can't get the signal then it would be really tough. The Radeon does have a composite in but that would mean I would have to put a VCR or something in front of the card. Any thoughts? Fahlcor |
