How do you find out about conflicts?

I just added a slew of christmas shows to record via snapsteam.net, some of which must conflict with my regular shows. When I went into the recording priorities in the FSUI, nothing said conflict. The Upcoming recording showed a lot of shows, too many to flip back and forth between those two screens to check. Is there some indicator somewhere if a show will not record?

conflicts will show if you schedule using .net or the graphical guide on the machine running snapstream, if you schedule remote recording jobs then you will not see the notification of conflicting shows, snapstream.net doesnt know about your recording jobs so it cant show you that things are conflicting.

Sorry, I was unclear. I set up the recordings on snapstream.net. Then, I went over to the physical snapstream box, went into the snapstream FSUI, told it to dload the remote recordings which it did, and looked at both the recording priorities and the upcoming recordings. Where would I see conflicts and how would they be indicated?

Like Robert said the only way to see the conflicts is to set them up on the PVS Box. At the moment you tell it to record it will tell you of any conflicts. If you do it remotely and then download them it can't or won't give you the conflicts at that time. I believe they are working on that, but as of right now it is what it is.

It would be nice if there was some sort of log accessible either from the web interface or, ideally, from both interfaces, alerting you to conflicts. It would also be handy to have other exceptional events noted in the log: failure to download epg listings, running out of disk space, a failed recompression, etc.

I would be fine with just an item in the Upcoming recordings with a red x showing me that the show won't record.

of course, it would be cool if it could do the conflict management for me, finding just the right combination of times to record the shows.
