It's easy. You didn't say what type of IR Transmitter you have so I'll skip that part.

1) right click on the 'Cable' button and change the text to 'Sat'
2) train HE Remote to operate your Sat box.
3) run the tuner.dll wizard
4) when SnapStream's setup wizard runs (it takes a bit for it to start) select the 'No Tuner' option.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. As for the IR Transmitter, I will use the standard Direct TV Remote for now.

I noticed that there is support in SS for the IRBlaster. Do I not have to activate this for SS to work properly with the IRBlaster?

HE Remote is software for operating IR Transmitters. (IRBlaster) If you don't have on then you don't need HE Remote.

IR Blaster

I misunderstood what you were refering to. I have an IR Blaster. It is not setup yet because I am switching from cable to Direct TV so I can get NASA TV. I have d/led HERomote but not activated it yet. I will be doing that this week after the DTV is installed.

There isn't any reason not to get familiar with HE Remote now. You can train it to operate your cable box, vcr, tv or just about anything else. It will control lots of devices, just add a new device button.
