Anyone getting skewed picture with pvs-250?

I have a subtle video problem with playing back my recordings recorded on the pvs-250. There is slight off-set of the picture towards the upper quarter of the screen. It shows up more when the scene is panning and the motion on the bottom of the screen moves faster than the motion on the top. It somewhat looks like a skewed, thin band. Anyone else get this problem?

I'm not sure if what I see is the same as what you see. I get a stutter that shows up most in panning but also is visable with other movement. It doesn't display panning smoothly. I have found that this shows more when using my computer to decode the file. When I use the MVP I don't see it nearly as much. I think that the MVP's hardware decoding is much better then any of the software decoders that I have tried.

All my recordings are kinda offset to the upper left leaving a thin band on the right (and a little on the bottom) of every recording made by my PVR-250. It's also visible when using the WinTV 2000 software. I also have this problem with the USB 2.0 version. I was thinking it was related to my motherboard chip set.

It must be something that happens between the I frames, because when I pause it to get a screen shot, the paused frame looks fine. But during playback, straight lines appear to jiggle. I notice that the software mpeg decoder looks a little better than the ATI hardware one. I'm going to play with the mpeg recording settings to see if I can't get it to look better.
