Starchoice/USB-UIRT - Works Great!!

Just got my USB-UIRT today and WOW! I can't believe how well it works with SnapStream and my Starchoice 405 receiver!

For those fellow Canucks wondering if SnapStream and Starchoice will work together -- most definetely yes!! The guide listings have been flawless (even more detailed then Starchoice's own EPG) and USB-UIRT has no problems whatsoever controlling my Starchoice receiver.

In fact! I'm actually using my USB-UIRT in my office and blasting the IR signals through an IR extender (one of those funny pyramid shaped things sold at Radio Shack). The signals are picked up perfectly in the living room. Not an ideal setup but will suffice til I get a hardwired emitter setup connected between the rooms.

The USB-UIRT couldn't have been easier to setup with SnapStream -- once you download and install the drivers for it, ya just run the SnapStream setup wizard and it will take you through the simple process of training the thing. All the default timing values work fine for me.

Just a note... the Actisys IR Blaster also works perfectly with my Starchoice 405 reciever. A bit of training, and the default IR blaster settings, and it's up and running in no time.

Any chance you will post your tvr file here? We are going to make a ir blaster library of codes and your working codes can be added. Just copy and rename your irtuner.tvr file to irtuner.txt and attach it to this thread. The file is located in your app data directory.
