Can SnapStream be run without logging on?
I have not played too much with Snapstream yet, but I've got one issue that's driving me nuts already.
My intention is to run snapstream when I'm not around to record shows and stream them to me while I'm on the road. My Windows XP computer shuts down automatically late at night and turns back on before primetime to record all my shows. The problem is that it appears that snapstream requires a user to logon before it will run. Is there really no way to have snapstream run as a service or will I be stuck having to VPN in every day and logon a user so snapstream can start? I'm hoping that I'm just missing something here. if you have an ati AIW or nvidia VIVO dont even bother reading farther they wont work.
check out this article: http://www.snapstream.com/Community/...es/pvs_service however running as a service can prevent you from accessing the graphical interface on some setups |
