Video folders and the Web Admin Watch page

I've begun to use separate video folders for better organizational purposes, but have noticed something a bit annoying. It seems that the tabs that grant access to different video folders on the watch page appear in the order the folders were created in. I could understand if they were forced alphabetically, but to have them in the order they were created is less than appealing, at least to me. I've searched the configuration settings for some functionality that would allow me to reorder them, but short of deleting them all and recreating them in the order that I want them, I'm not sure how else to do it.

Does anyone know of a way to reorder the folders after creation, or if this is even possible? I can't be the only one who didn't create folders in the exact order I wanted them to appear.

yeah its annoying the only way other than deleting and recreating is to use an xml editor and re-organize the following file:
c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\personal video station\masterstorecollection.xml

this file can only be edited while snapstream is NOT running as it is only parsed at startup, any changes to it will be overwritten when snapstream exits.

Ah...Thank you very much RobertH. Editing the xml file rearranged them successfully. I'm glad I didn't have to delete them all to reorder them.

Is the ability to reorder video folders on the list of suggestions for future releases? Seems to me like it would be a worthwhile thing to add to the Web Admin interface. I doubt the common user is going to want to be editing xml files to change the order.

I dont think anyone thought of it yet, but since folders are supposed to get into one of the upcoming versions that may end up happening soon.

I noticed that files are also arranged in this order.

I do not know if this will work for the folders, but I noticed that by changing the name of the file, also changed the date by which it was sorted, so this might be possible with the folders. Try changing the name to something, then changing it back. Might be a bit easier. *shruggs*
