IR Blaster

I am using SS with an external tuner (cable box). I just got the IR Blaster (not a suported device yea, yea) So now what? I couldn't find anything about how to program it to work with my cable box. I can't believe it is supposed to work all by itself. There must be some codes to download for my box or a utility to use to teach it what chanel up and chanel down are supposed to do. What next?

Run the setup wizard it should set it up for you automatically. If it does not work then you may have to go to the HE remote mentioned in the KB article RobertH gave you a link for. I was lucky I guess, it works great for me. I have a Motorola DCT2000 Cable box.

Did you know that HE Remote can do a direct serial link to the DCT2000 now?
