Archiving Video Tapes
I have a plan and want to know if SnapStream is a way to go to help in that plan.
I have every episode of B5, ST:TNG and ST S9 on VHS video taped at high quality off satelite broadcast. Obviously, all those tapes take up a lot of room in my video cabinet. Now that I have a DVD player that supposedly plays VCDs, I want to try moving video from tape onto VCD. This is easy enough with a capture card, but I also want to go a step further. How easy/hard would it be to use SnapStream to tape future episodes of my favorite TV shows, convert them to VCD to watch in my Tohsiba DVD player.? |

Well, recording them with PVS should be easy. Burning them to VCD format specifically would take more work. You can burn files saved by SnapStream PVS and view them on anything that has Windows Media Player, but converting to VideoCD format will require extra steps on the user's part.
