No video on mpg recordings (Link)?
After adding an HD-PVR to my server, I have done a bunch of updates to one of my Link boxes: latest ATI video driver, codec updates, updated Link from 4.9.0 to 4.9.3 and then back down to 4.9.2, in step with the versions on the server. That shaggy dog story is over here: http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/showpost.php?p=336940&postcount=18.
After getting the H.264 stuff working (sorta), I have discovered I can no longer play analog .mpg or ATSC recordings on my secondary monitor on my main Link box--which is the monitor I always use to watch TV. Here are the facts: Primary monitor uses DVI from video card and plays H.264, analog .mpg and ATSC fine in Link. Secondary monitor has digital input but uses VGA from video card. Plays H.264 but NOT analog .mpg or ATSC in Link. I get audio, but just a black screen. As a test, I tried them in Windows Media Player, too. Secondary monitor WILL play analog .mpg in WMP, but not ATSC--but that doesn't mean anything because WMP won't play ATSC on primary monitor, either. Assuming this broke after updating my graphics drivers, I rolled them back but that didn't help. I'm not too concerned about analog .mpg, because, after I clear the backlog of recordings, there won't be any new ones. They'll be replaced by H.264 from the HD-PVR. But I still intend to record ATSC frequently, and would love to be able to view these on my secondary monitor. Keep in mind that this all DID work with BTV Link 4.9.0 and the old Radeon driver. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Re: No video on mpg recordings (Link)?
I believe the issue is with the new ATI Video Drivers... I can't use anything above v10.2
