Dell Studio Hybrid thoughts?

http://www.dell.com/content/products...tab&redirect=1

Granted no PCI/PCI-E slots, but with HDMI out and the ability to toss in a Blu-Ray drive...I'm considering getting one so I can move out the bulky tower from my living room. Thoughts?

Re: Dell Studio Hybrid thoughts?

i'm so getting one w/o the Bamboo cover... I'll pay the extra money for it... =)

Add an USB tuner to it or 2 and it'll be a nice small BTV computer or you can use it as a Link box.

Re: Dell Studio Hybrid thoughts?

Yea, I was kinda wondering why they are pimping the bamboo cover so much.

Re: Dell Studio Hybrid thoughts?

I wonder how the HD performance will be. Yes, I can see it says Blu-ray playback, and that's not BTV doing the playback. I appreciate this has the upper-end integrated Intel graphics, but it ain't the newer nVidia, which I would trust to work well with HD. Time will tell.

Bye.
