usb-uirt not working correctly, wizard crashing!

I am having multiple problems with the USB-UIRT and the wizard software.

1. USB-UIRT will not change channels during the test.
2. After the test, the channel changing test with video/audio crashes, and wizard exits.

Please help, I'm completely lost at this point.. Thanks!!

Specs:
Windows XP Pro SP2 with all updates. (BTV 4.7)
BioStar TF7050 MB with integrated HDMI
AMD X2 5200+ 2.7GHZ
Avermedia AVerTV Combo PCIe
4GB RAM

I am guessing it keeps crashing because the tuner card I have isn't supported with BTV. I read that it was working with previous versions but I have not read anyone having it working with 4.7. I still can't explain why my usb-uirt won't change the channels.. any thoughts?

There was a change in 4.7 related to the the USBUIRT:

Support for multiple USB-UIRT devices in Beyond TV

I seem to remember that I needed to update to the latest USBUIRT driver and/or reinstall the driver after upgrading to 4.7

This was a fresh install of 4.7, never used any previous versions before. I got the usb-uirt drivers fresh off their website and installed them after I installed BTV 4.7. I even reinstalled both and I get the same results.

Another seem to remember/guess - did you install the driver before plugging in the USBUIRT ?

What STB are you using ?

I don't think I installed the driver before plugging it in, but it does see it in the device mananger and that its working.

I am using a motorola and my service is comcast (sigh).
