3.7.4 Guide Updates

I am still running 3.7.4 (i have no need for HD recordings, and therefore don't have a need to upgrade to 4.x) and having problems with guide updates over the last few days. I pretty much have a clean install at this point and guide updates still fail with this code:
Error 7: Processing new data failed

This morning I uninstalled BTV, deleted my lineups on snapstream.net. I then deleted the following folders:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Beyond TV
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SnapStream\Beyond TV
C:\Program Files\SnapStream Media\Beyond TV 3

I also deleted the registry key under:
HKLM\Local Machine\Snapstream\SnapStream Media\Beyond TV

I then rebooted my computer, closed all running apps, deleted temp files and re-installed BTV. I ran the setup, re-created my channel lineups, and it failed again. Here is a portion of the log file:

Could my issues be related to the server updates and mentioned in this thread?

Are you sure that it's not simply your C: that is too full, so it can't uncompress the file to process it?

Nope...32gb free on my c drive and 162gb free on storage.

Upon furhter investigation, I installed 4.6.1 trial. It also failed, but produced another error during guide data processing. A windows dialog box poped up with a runtime error in the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 runtime. I uninstalled this pack, rebooted and updates worked in 4.6.1. Kinda funny since I've had that runtime pack installed since the last format/reload I did (back in May or June).

Presently uninstalling 4.6.1 and reinstalling 3.7.4 and will report back....

i believe your issue is with .net, i just installed 3.7.4 and got guide updates fine.

I uninstalled 4.6.1 trial and reinstalled 3.7.4 and guide updates are still functioning.

Michael, can you confirm that the Visual C++ 2005 redistributable pack is not necessary for 3.7.4 to function? I believe it was installed as part of the control panel applet for my ATI Theater 550 PRO card. At this point, I am not going to re-install it as everything is functioning.
