Multi-Tuner System Hauppauge 1600 and 150

I thought I had this working but it appears not.

I am running BeyondTV 4.6 on a Windows XP (w/ Service Pack 2). I have two tuner cards installed, a Hauppauge 1600 and a Hauppauge 150. Pictures from the 1600 come in fine. The Hauppauge 150 looks awful, plenty of snow. When viewed in DScaler however it looks perfect.

I've tried making registry changes as described in the Microsoft knowledge base article for overriding DirectShow frequencies, but there is no change.

Please help! I can't believe that I am the only one who has had trouble making this configuration work, yet I can't find anything on this in this forum.

Thanks

Re: Multi-Tuner System Hauppauge 1600 and 150

Are these recorded shows or livetv? If it is livetv, then I would guess it is a setup issue in btv (no clue what it could be) specifically since it plays fine in dscaler. If it is recorded shows, then I am at a loss, the files made by the 150 and 1600 should be the same. I assume you record a show in btv with the 150 and that plays fine in dscaler (never used, can't comment).

Sadly something seriously goofy like this best recommendation is a reinstall. Try removing btv and reinstalling (use 4.6.1) go through setup and setup each tuner, make sure they work there. You could also try the latest driver (or a safe driver, see if anything is in the forums)

If that doesn't work, then there might be some other program or driver interfering, that usually means a complete windows install, not knowing the history of your install counldn't tell you more than that.

You caould also try the 150 with the wintv program, see if it works fine there. Also try other pci slots.
