Help with HDHomerun

I've searched the other HDHR thread as well as the silicondust forums and am at a loss. Let me thank you in advance for any help (and apologize for the length of this post)

My problem is that BTV does not recognize the HDHomerun tuner--it will not let me add the tuner and it doesn't show up as an available tuner in the setup wizard. Everything on step-by-step on the instructions worked perfectly until I went to add the tuner to BTV. It just doesn't show up. I can play all of the QAM files through the VLC player in the HDHR conguration utility. This works for all my QAM channels

I am running BTV 4.6.1 build 3937. I installed the HDHR and followed the "instructions" on this site:

http://projecthtpc.wordpress.com/200...-tv-hdhomerun/

I also am using this DHCP server as I have connected the HDHomerun tuner directly to an extra networkign adapter in my main HTPC. My main HTPC is connected to the internet via WIFI--and I didn't want to attempt to stream HD content x 2 over WIFI.

HDCP server link (from Silicondust forum):

http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2797&highlight=dhcp

This may be the issue--but since it works perfectly though the config/VLC player, I am not sure why BTV wouldn't "recognize" the tuner.

Any ideas?

System config:

1x Hauppage PVR 500
2x Fusion USB OTA HD Tuners
1x HDHomerun QAM tuner (not working with BTV)
Windows Firewall turned off.
HDHR connected to on-board wired network adapter. Internet access via PCI Wifi card.

Thank you

Re: Help with HDHomerun

I doubt it is the DHCP server since it works with VLC. It sounds like the BDA drivers are not installed properly. If you have graphedit or a directshow filter manager, see if the HDHomeRun tuner drivers are listed under "BDA Receiver Component".

Yes with graphedit I see both my dvico fusion tuners as well as both silicondust tuners. I am really stumped...

Any other ideas?

Re: Help with HDHomerun

Just to close the loop on this, I upgraded to build 3939 (from 3937 beta) and everything worked as expected.
