Re: [addon] BTV Podcatcher

Try Replacing the BTVPodcatcher2.exe.config file in your 'C:\program files\BTV Podcatcher' with the one attached below.

Edit I removed the attachment use the new version to fix the issue

I took my machine over remotely and replaced the file. No change.

What operating system are you using and you do have .net 2.0 installed

It may take some time for me to investigate this as I am not sure what is causing this and am not sure why this occurrd

Re: [addon] BTV Podcatcher

I am also getting BTV Integration greyed out. I am a first time user and have 4.8.1. I have security setup. I tried logging in under administrator and also created another user under the administrators group and logging in under that user and it still did not work. Please advise.

Btv intergration is disabled because it could not login or find the btv server

First make sure you are using btv podcatcher version 2 you can tell that you have this version if the program setup has a username field
if you do not have the right version go to page 4 of this thread and dowload that version

If you have that version
try adding a feed an see if it the title says error with feed the description column will tell you what error you have
if the error is like configuation did not initialize try deleting the btvpodcatcher2.Exe.config file then restart the application

If the feed setup properly
then it is probably not setup properly
first try to access the web admin in Internet explore
if that does not work then restart you btv server and try again
if you can bring up the web admin
Then check your program setting and make sure the username password btv server and port are setup properly save the form then open up the feed setup form and see if it is enabled

If that did not work please let me know

Yes, I am using version 2 from page 4.

I added a feed and it says, "error with feed"

I tried deleting .configuration file and have the same thing. I also tried replacing my .configuration file with the one you uploaded and still get the same thing.

My webadmin works fine and I am using the same username and password to try to get podcatcher to work and still get the same problems.

There must be a problem with the security coding you have... I don't know what else it would be.

Thanks!

Re: [addon] BTV Podcatcher

there is not a issue with the security coding

the issue is something is blocking the program from accessioning the the internet. I am guessing this is the same thing that Cal.

what did the description say in the feed setup for the feed that had error with feed - this will be what error occurred

I also am sending you a P.M. with some task that will help me figure out what is causing the issue

Re: [addon] BTV Podcatcher

Alright, I have added a bunch of feeds and I have left the program open, but I can't figure out why all my videos haven't downloaded. A few of them did. I can manually set them to download.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

it will only download new episodes automaticly if you want to download other episodes you need to dowload them manually
