Ir Blaster

This is not a BTV issue, just woundering if anyone has seen this and can help. When I goto change channels double digits are being sent.

When I send 123 I get 112233

I have a HVR-1600 and I am using the included irBlaster application.

The STB is a CaptiveWorks CW-600s Premium.

I have a MCE 2005 remote and girder but can not figure out how to get girder to learn my STB codes.....

you are sending double signals, you need to disable one of the drivers. You are getting a double somewhere, not sure where. I don't like blasters, I use a cable to my low data port.

Did you enable the blaster in btv setup? try uninstalling the blaaster software and only setup in btv, then visa versa.

Don't I need to have the hauppauge ir blaster software running to get BYTV to change channels?

A liite more info:
I have made some advancements with girder. I have am using the mce2005 plugin. I have it configured and learned the STB remote and it to is sending multiple signals. When I was seting up girder I was able to test each key and they worked fine, but when BYTV send it, it doubles up....

I think btv may be doubling the commands sent. I've seen this with remote commands sometimes. First off, submit a ticket if you haven't, could be the btv plugin. Second, turn of the ir blaster and girder, see what happens. Maybe btv has its own blaster driver. If this works, then let btv control the blaster. You can program other buttons in your remote not used by btv with girder. I don't think you'll be able to turn off btv's control and still schedule recordings. You may be able to use the tuner plugin and have it command girder, but this is well beyond my experience.

I email the person that posted the instructions on how to set up girder and he said there is a setting in the BYTV setup that tells BYTV how many times to repeat the IR command, anyone know where that is?

try settings.xml, otherwise look in plugins and see what xml files are there (specifically for the blaster you are using)
