Need a stable Nvidia Driver

I know, I know - don't change things that are working, but.... I find it very hard resisting new nividia drivers. On a reboot, PC is blue screening when it attempts to load windows, which has always been my signal that my video card driver isn't behaving.

I've been in the 9X.XX series for a while, what is everyone else using in the 8X.XX series that seems stable. This is with a 6600GT

Re: Need a stable Nvidia Driver

84.21 has been the best version for me with the 6600GT, but to be honest I'm getting ready to pull it and use an ATI card instead.

Not trying to start the big debate again, but I've just had better and more consistent video playback results with my 9600PRO card (as well as a clone mode that works), so I'm getting another quiet ATI card.

Thanks - that is the one that I thought was stable, but I wasn't sure.

Re: Need a stable Nvidia Driver

Which 9X.XX did you try? 91.31 has been stable for me with a 6600GT.
