I'm stepping through the Instructions on the tripod site, and the "Server Tab" page appears to be MIA.

Just wondering. I haven't been reading much from the BTV-N threads and info. Focusing on BTV-E. Can I realistically expect to get this working by doing that?

It seems kind of cryptic. Maybe I'm missing something on BTV-N that would make this easier?

Yes, that was on the "to do" list. I've copied the BTVN page for now.

Version .11 (alpha) is available:

- Modification to the core logic of setting up the next recording.

- Disabled the padding at the end of the recordings for now.

While there are improvements for the DVICO-QAM users, it is a temporary step back for the others, with the lost of the padding at the end of the recordings. There might be issues with the timing and the back to back recordings too...

EDIT: crashes with HDHomeRun, so don't bother for now...

Version .12 (alpha) is available:

- Disabled the padding. (this should get rid of the timing issues until I can figure them all)

- Fixed a few problems with version .11a. (like the crashes with HDHomeRun and trying to schedul things in the past)

* The post-processing does not seem to work for DVICO-QAM...

- Shortened the recording durations by 5 seconds, to solve some timing issues.

Divco/QAM - No recordings are being scheduled with .14. I set up two recordings (see screen shot), but nothing is being sent to FusionHDTV. Here is the log:

Hmm, and if you check the DVICO QAM sub-tab you still see it defined as tuner 5?

Somehow it got changed to tuner #6 (maybe when I added the HVR950 ?) Changed it back to #5 and testing again

First show of a back to back recorded but the second didn't. It shows activity in the log and also shows up in the db, but it didn't record.
Also, on the show that was recorded, the show info didn't get added. From the log, it looks like it was trying to find "J:\TV\How I Met Your Mother-(Nothing Good Happens After 2AM)-2006-12-25-1.mpg" when the show is named "How I Met Your Mother.mpg". Here is the log:

When ever the tuner numbering is changed, you should make sure it doesn't modify the one monitored, or to re-associate it.

Hmm, almost sounds like adding a recording job while one is underway is a no go... It had been confirmed to work, but maybe the back to back is creating the problem?

Also, on the show that was recorded, the show info didn't get added. From the log, it looks like it was trying to find "J:\TV\How I Met Your Mother-(Nothing Good Happens After 2AM)-2006-12-25-1.mpg" when the show is named "How I Met Your Mother.mpg".

Could you send me your database please, or check the content of PL_URL, to see which of the 2 filenames it contains.

I know that it has worked for me in the past. I'll have to do more testing tonight to confirm

By then I should have another release or 3 where instead of adding the database entries 1 minute before the actual recording, it will be done 5 minutes early (don't schedul recordings 5 minutes or shorter with it)... Hopefully this will avoid the problem. Otherwise I might have to do something dumb like stoping the recording 30 seconds early and adding the database entry in that 30 seconds, which might also be too short a delay for the DVICO software to react...

...but if you do, it will just be for dvico tuner, not hdhr?
