Re: Heroes

Yep, great show. If you haven't watched it yet, watch/record the marathon on Sunday night. I'm just concerned if FOX brings back 24 it'll conflict, that's the only other show I never miss... <yes I know I could buy a second tuner, but one show isn't worth that to me> Actually I think fox puts the full episodes of shows on their myspace anyway after they air, come to think of it, so I'll be good.

Re: Heroes

I love the show, but it does seem to be delivering very, very slowly. It reminds me of X-Files a bit. Every week they promise something big in the next episode. Every week, they deliver a small nugget, but it is never the gold-rush that I was expecting.

Re: Heroes

Great new show. I'm pleased with the movement; much more satisfying than Lost, which is getting very frustrating and making me want to bolt.

Here's a twist that I came up with: what if wire-rim guy is actually cheerleader's natural father, and he/wife lied to her to hide the fact that they have powers themselves? Kinda out there but it would be a kicker...

Interesting...

But seems like Skyler has more than one power.
Right now, everyone else has there own unique power.

Re: Heroes

Is it sylar or skylar?

Anyway here are the possiblities:
  • Sylar is the same person as "wire-rimmed glasses guy" aka cheerleaders dad
  • Sylar either works for wire-rimmed glasses guy or vice versa
  • No relationship to wire-rimmed glasses guy who is actually an o.k. guy and not a villian
  • Sylar is an organizaton that is trying to steal all the brains of the heros and control the world. SYLAR could be an acronym
Who knows. I'm think I'm addicted to this show...... Reminds me of how I liked Lost the first two seasons.

Re: Heroes

Am I the only one that doesn't think the stripper has a power? To me she just has a split personality disorder. Maybe if her alter ego was super strong, or super fast, or a super stripper... I don't know. It just seems like a pretty lame power.

I think that syler has multiple powers (telekenesis, rapid healing etc..) and may be the cheerleader's father (adopted father or real father)

Re: Heroes

Super Stripper. Thats good. Yea, I wonder if she has any real powers also. Could be her boy that has the powers. He's at least a really smart kid.

Re: Heroes

Yes, and for the costume she will wear tights and have SS on her top (much like Superman) but no cape.

Re: Heroes

o.k. Don't read anymore if you haven't watched last nights episode yet:

I'm pretty sure the wire rimmed glasses guy is not bad - especially after this episode. I'm starting to think Nathan might be more of a bad seed then the rest of them (at least he's a weasel) - by the way, as we watched Nathan fly away - both my wife and I said "he's been practicing". Seems like he understands his power and how to use it better than the others except possibly the cheerleader.

Here's something to check on your saved show:
I noticed when Claire's mom called her father (wire rimmed glasses guy)it said Sylar on her cell phone. Check it out and tell me if i'm crazy (after second thought don't tell me I'm crazy - just tell me if I'm right or not )

Re: Heroes

Spoiler alert....

I'm beginning to think Sylar is just an alter-ego of wire-rimmed guy, not a separate person.

Anyone else notice that Nathan's hair was neatly groomed after landing, even though he was flying at supersonic speed? Also, how come his pajama pants didn't fly off?

Also, the smart kids mom (dual personality). Is she a bad hero?

Re: Heroes

The cheerleaders dad hasn't shown a special power (has he?). I think he's just cataloging everyone and possibly looking for skylar. He gave the rappist a second chance.

I think the smart kid's father is extra special too, so may be the kid. But the mom may be a bad seed.

The Nathan's brother can channel other peoples power.

Did you see Nathan's do a sonic BOOM! haha

The Cheerleader's the key. SAVE THE CHEERLEADER. SAVE THE WORLD!
