Playstation DVD remote to computer?
I have an interesting proposition... I am new to this so I don't know if it is possible... but, I have one of those Playstation DVD remotes and receivers plugged into the 2nd person video game controller port on my system. Is is possible to take that playstation 2 remote and use it on my PC as my PCs multimedia remote?
I have one of those PS2 to USB adapters from radioshack that I use to play my games on the computer... so could I plug the remotes receiver into that... then use the Playstation 2 DVD remote, programming it somehow... for my TV tuner, multimedia programs and whatever else? I have no idea... it seems like it would work... but I understand it probably won't. Thanks,
