White dots in ShowSqueezed recordings

I get white dots in my ShowSqueezed recordings. Examples of such are included below





This does not occur in live TV and does not occur in MPEG2 recordings. Im using Windows Media to encode.

The white dots dont show up all the time (in fact most of the time they dont) but in certain parts and especially scene changes they occur

I can't see the pictures you posted, but I also get white dots when I play back showsqueezed video. However, for me the dots go away after a few seconds.

I also see this exact same effect. Very interesting. Did you ever get a resolution?
