Unable to get live TV

I have a less-popular and cheap TV tuner card, the Sabrent SBT-TVFM which runs off of the Philips SAA7130 chipset. The card came with a program called honestech TVR, but I quickly switched to WinDVR because the honestech program lacked features. Both programs work beautifully with my card. However, I am having problems with getting Beyond TV to work with it.

During the setup, I was unable to get video, however I did hear audio from whatever channel I was last on in WinDVR. I carefully followed the SnapStream knowledge base guide to fix the video problem but I had no success. I ran the setup again and was then told it was unable to create a live TV graph. I finished the setup, despite getting no picture, and tried to load live TV in the actual Beyond TV program. I would hear the audio kick in while it said "Loading Live TV", but after a few minutes of it attempting to load, I got an error message stating that I should check my feed and change my channel.

If I close out of Beyond TV and go into WinDVR, I get live TV without a problem.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

I would make sure your card is supported if you haven't already, you may need to get a new one with more support. Best of luck

I have searched the forums here, for Sabrent Cards, as extensively as I can.
I have the exact problem that seems to have been experienced by the original poster above. Can anyone give me an idea if this problem was resolved? If so, please

I can use the original software supplied by Sabrent, but it lacks in almost every way possible, so the card works, and the cable feed is good.

Other posters have indicated that their Sabrent card worked....but had some audio problems. My problem is that I cannot view video at all during the setup phase of the software.

I am using Windows XP Professional SP2, with the Beyond TV trial version 4.9.2.

I have not seen the card on the "supported" list of software, and I have not seen it on the "unsupported" list either....

Maybe we can clarify this a little?

I am wondering if the 2 software systems can co-habitate on the same PC?
Maybe I could try an older version of the beyond TV?

The user interface is really well done, and I would love to keep using it, if I can ever get it to work.

My primary reason for this PVR software is to record shows for my 5 year old daughter.
