Cannot playback while recording

I am using BTV4, I am not sure when was the problem start from, BTV cannot playback the show while which is still in recording. I remember that it was no problem but not sure on BTV3.7 or BTV4. When I try to playback a recording show, an error message said the file is corrupted or not existing, however the show can be playback after the recording is stopped.

I had exactly the same problem. I am using a 2 tuner setup. The tuners are:

Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250
ATI Theater Pro 550

When recording 2 programs, I could view 1 program, but the other program gave me a corrupted file message just like you. When the recordings were over, I could watch either program with no problems.

I believe that the problem was with the Hauppauge drivers. When I reverted to earlier drivers, version pvr250_18_inf.zip, the problem went away.

I am using Hauppauge 150 and Compro Videomate, I made a simple test to setup 2 manual recordings at same time, I can playback both recording shows without problem. I setup another 2 recordings through Program Guide, the recording shows cannot be playback unless the recordings are finished. So I think it is not a driver problem, probably the file handling methods of manual recording and program guide recording are difference. Hope they will fixed it on next release.
