No Guide Data Left!!!! Help!!!!!

Hello I am new to BTV and just got the Beyond TV 3.7.4 Trial 3 days ago. Day 1 worked great. I also Tried Sage, and GB-PVR and Beyond was the one i liked. So i set up shows to recorde for the next few days. Then Yesterday morning the Guide Data disappeared. I have tried a manuel update. I have rebooted. I have flushed the temp files. I have even installed and uninstalled BTV all to no help. Now their is a lot of shows i want to tape tonight and i need to get this fixed or i may have no choice, but to put my money behind another product.

Please Help!!! No GUIDE DATA LEFT every channel is unavailable, and no manuale guide retrevial will work. Also remote schedulaing fails. PLEASE HELP.

This just happened to me also on Saturday. No guide data, all scheduled recordings are gone. I tried re-installing on two different systems and I can't get past the setup wizard lineup selection. I think something is wrong with snapstream.net. Maybe we are the first ones to realize this.

I am sorry for cross posting i was hoping it would help me get help faster. IF you dont like i am sorry.

Yes i spent all day reading the KBs and Yes i tried that one. I have
1. Run the Setup Wizard
2. Did not apply as i have not bought this program yet, and if i cant get this problem fixed soon wont.
3. I sync my date and time every day, but yes i checked and it is correct
4. Rebooted deleted temp files rebooted and did a manual guide update
5. Tested SnapStream.Net on all 3 test pages.
6. sent in a trouble ticket.

I have also.
1. re-installed entire BTV 3.7.4 trial.
2. Tried to reset channel line up in snapstream.net and it just loops.
3. ASKED for help in the fourm.

None of the above mention things has worked to get the guide to work again.
Still Says NO GUIDE DATA all channals are Unavailable.

Thank you all to anyone who can help.

I'm in the same boat...I had two pages of recordings to take place within the next 10 days...now there is NOTHING. No guide data left! I have been using BTV for over a year and nothing like this has happened before. Why couldn't BTV take a crap over the summer before all the new shows started??!!?!? Oh well...now I know why there is a manual programming option...

I too am getting the "No guide data left" message on a new machine I am setting up. On my machine, I am getting the guide fine. It last updated 09-25-05 @10:04 am. On the machine am setting up for a friend, with BTV 3.7.4 Trial, I get "No guide data left". I have been trying since 09-24-05 Saturday morning.

As a side note, I also received the can not build TV graph error during installation, but I can record live tv just fine.

On the "Snapstream.Net System Status" page @ http://status.snapstream.net/, the guide server is listed as "Offline/Unavailable". But they do make a note to say "An "Unavailable" server may not necessarily constitute a server outage."

That status page is not up-to-date -- as the Guide servers are up and running...

On the new machine -- if you look at the logs -- are there any odd errors relating to the guide update?

I just installed the 3.7.4 trial yesterday and I've got the same problem with no guide data.

Here's the log info from my latest guide update attempt:

The server status page here shows the guide data servers down and I can't access either testpage test1 test2.

I had been running the trial just fine on a different machine and the guide worked, but the machine seemed to have a conflict with my Hauppauge PVR-150, as it kept crashing. So, I moved the card to this machine to see if things got better, or if my card was bad (which it doesn't seem to be).

My log states the same as John's (jredders). It says it completed with no errors, but no guide info shows. I tried all the recommend suggests from "SnapStream KB #50: Cannot retrieve Program Guide Listing" @ http://snapstream.custhelp.com/cgi-...BmYWlsZWQ*&p_li= to no avail.

trial.snapstream.net is acting wacky too.

Try doing a search, it it won't find anything.

Click on a program and you get this. "Error: No Record Found. Database Key = SH6780790000"

Something is up with the guide data. Luckly it didn't lose the data already setup (6 days left). At least not the last time I looked...

I'm having similar problems. Running the 3.7.4 trial version. I had 5-6 days worth of guide data last night, and scheduled a bunch of shows. Today, all the channels in the guide come up as "Unavailable", and there's a message in red at the top that says "No guide data left".

I followed the troubleshooting article in the KB w/o any luck. If I go to the test page at https://wsdl.snapstream.net/, I get an error, "You are not authorized to view this page." I wonder if this has something to do with it? I never get prompted for any credentials, so I'm not sure what is supposed to happen. My firewall is off, and the error message implies that I'm making a connection, but the server doesn't like me.

Hope this gets fixed soon. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the licensed version? I was actually intending to buy the full version this week, but now I'm a little concerned.

I am not seeing any issues with my data, but have seen a few posts on trial guide updates, so there may be issues, or there may be something else going on with the trial licenses.

Are you seeing guide data when you log into trial.snapstream.net ?

ShinyBubble, I do not have any problems with my licensed versions of BTV 3.7.2 and BTV Link 3.7.2. It is only the BTV 3.7.4 trial I am having issues with.

I can see guide data, but when I try and get program details I receive this message "Error: No Record Found. Database Key = EP9999999999". The 9's change with the program selected. When I click on the record link I receive this message "Remote job successfully added -- User has not added any remote recording jobs."

The paid site works fine. I can view program details and schedule remote recordings. So I do believe that something is amiss on the trial site.

You know what Nanook, I took the advice and did a full update, then disabled guide updates and remote update. Last night around 9pm Eastern, all of my guide suddenly went to "unavailable", but I *know* I had plenty of data in there, and had disabled guide updates.

Nothing wonky in the logs, and all I had to do to fix was turn updates back on and do force an updated. Oddly, as soon as I forced the update, BTV immediately told me it was at 50% processing of guide data. ??
