Random swapping between normal and wide screen
About 30% of the shows I record seem to be double width, with the right half of the picture disappearing offscreen. This double wide effect happens in any player, or in video editing programs, so I'm sure it's in the recording itself.
It seems to be quite random. I'll be recording several shows back to back, all on the same channel, and sometimes they'll be "normal", sometimes double-wide. Any guesses as to what's going on?

It's a Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (26xxx)
I've only tried to record at the default quality. I just now went and set up three manual recordings at the other three qualities, to see if it makes any difference.

I think that the 26XX is the Hauppauge PVR150. What drivers are you using ?
