invalid page fault

It is quite consistent:

1) I record a show using the diagnostic at any quality level.

2) While watching the show on the local machine the message saying that Ssd has performed an invalid page fault at 0177:00421821 and so on.

So getting back to your problem here...do you mean while recording the show or while watching the show?

It would be unusual if watching the show caused the PVS to crash, since links in the page simply launch Windows Media Player, independent of the PVS itself.

Well, I've been playing with it quite a bit recently. It seems that if I record a show at anything above 56k quality level the recording appears to finish in the console, but I get the IVPF when it says recording complete. I can only use v4.1 of the encoder right now so it may involve something there. My machine is a:

PII 300MHz
64MB RAM
ATI AIW 128 PCI
SB AWE64 ISA
P2L97 mobo
