No PocketPC options?

I can record and watch fine on my PC, running win98 SE. However, the only options to do with Pocketpc I can find is under the profile where I can save as ipaq standard. This gives me an asf file of about 1MB for the 1 minute diag test. Good. Cant find any other options to do with pocketpc though. I do have active sync installed and ppc in cradle. Is it supposed to allow me to further encode the asf file? Can I do that manually as a workaround?

I have studied the help below. These are the options I am not seeing:-

1. Once you have SnapStream PVS running on your desktop, you are ready to use PocketPVS.

2. ActiveSync should be installed on your desktop and PocketPVS should be "ENABLED" from inside of SnapStream PVS (Configure PocketPVS Settings)

3. To synchronize a show to PocketPVS, click on the PocketPVS button (either a text button that read "PocketPVS" or an icon like this one ).

The PocketPVS menu options currently only appear if you have ActiveSync installed.

We're thinking about changing this, but in the meantime, this would imply that we either have a problem in our detection of ActiveSync or you may have accidentally failed to install ActiveSync correctly.

Specifically, we look for rapi.dll (which is installed with ActiveSync). Does this file exist on your system?

I also can not get the configure menu to give me any PocketPVS options. I have ActiveSync 3.1 installed and operating. I even re-installed it to see if that would solve the problem, it did not. I have checked, and I do have rapi.dll on my system.

Same with me. I have actice sync 3.1. I remember seeing the options once, but I've installed several times over. It's not there and I have that dll file in my winnt\system32 directory. Please fix it.

I am also having this problem, exact same symptoms. I have tried re-installing activesync and the snapstream pvs with no luck.

I'm not sure what is causing the problem yet, (we had the problem occur once but it mysteriously disappeared before we could troubleshoot) but I will see what I can do about adding an option to "force" PocketPVS options to appear.

I am also having the same problem (no PocketPVS option in config menu).

I checked, and rapi.dll also does exist in my winnt\system32 directory.

Is there a workaround for this yet?

I had the missing msvcrtd.dll error, so I went out and found one. After I copied it to the system32 dir, it not only fixed this error, but it also seemed to fix my missing PocketPVS problem too.

I think I am finally in business!

So where did you find the file? Can you email it to me at plb1@ra.msstate.edu?

I have the PocketPVS options, but I can't get it to sync automatically. Are there some other settings that I need to change in addition to enabling the auto-sync?

Wait, nevermind, I have the directory on my Storage Card, but how do I get it to copy the video file over automatically?
