BTV amd BM exclusivefs problems

I have finally got 3dacc working reasonably well in BTV, but unless I use displaymode:exclusiivefs I get tearing. No problem, I can live with that for now.

But, how do I make BM launch BTV in exclucivefs mode? I tried editing the BM menu.xml file and putting the command in the program launch path. This seemed to work, but when I try to exit back to BM BTV just jumps into windowed mode!

Also BTV performance is greatly reduced when BM is in the background (when in exclusivefs mode). Any ideas there?
