WinTV and Snapstream

I have the latest drivers for the WinTV (PCI) card. I also have a Pent. 4 1.7 gighz system w/ Windows XP. I have the demo version of snapstream.

It does nothing. I click record now, it says it is recording, I click stop recording and it says I am not recording anything to stop, I click Watch and ...nothing. What is up with this?

Anything of note in the activity log?

Did you install the Windows Media Encoder as part of the SS install?

Are you using any firewall software that might be blocking access to the required ports?

If all else fails, try to uninstall and reinstall. Fixed a minor problem that I was experiencing.

What are all the settings on the page configure->video sources->edit? What are the contents of your activity log AFTER YOU DO A MANUAL RECORDING AND YOU TRY TO STOP IT? You can get to the activity log by right-clicking on the pvs tray icon and select view activity log.
