Record audio on left channel !?!

Already checked all the settings..
tvtuner prog has stereo sound. Recording is all set correctly.
But when recorded... the prog only got left sound?

BTW.. running w2k, happauge wintv nicam .. and VFM drivers..

I've had it record only the left channel and then part way though switch to the right for a brief period of time and then switch back to the left and it keeps doing this over and over.
