Divx ShowSqueeze Error

The story:
I recently downloaded and installed the snapstream DivX plugin not realizing it required the divx pro codec to encode. After much consideration I decided to buy the DivX pro codec for 20 dollars even though I was able to encode divx for free with my previous version of PVS/BTV

The Problem:
My snapstream batch processor crashes everytime it tries to encode a divx movie. At first it seemed to crash immediatily upon calling the divx pro codec to do some work. After reinstalling BTV the batch processor seemed to work (the CPU read 87% on the batch processor and there was harddrive swapping) but it turned out that the batch processor simply crashed again .. but this time in the middle of encoding.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
