Beyond TV and crashing
Recently, my computer has been just restarting. At first I thought that it was a bad stick of RAM but now I think it is Beyond TV. It first reset only when I ran showsqueeze... but now it seems that it will reset when I am watching TV too. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and even a system restore. Now, I can't even get the setup wizard to work. Any ideas?

Re: Beyond TV and crashing
I thought the same thing as well, but then for kicks I figured I'd swap the power supply for a more powerfull one, and that made all the difference.
Turns out I was running at 283W of a 300W PS...I switched to another 350W PS and it seems to have cured my reboot problems (from 5-6 reboots a day to zero a day for a good 2 weeks). |

Re: Beyond TV and crashing
I had the same issue and it took a complete reinstall of XP to clear it up, it has now been several weeks without a crash, lockup or reboot.

Re: Beyond TV and crashing
So far, it was a bad thing of RAM. I just wanted to cover all my bases before I went through the hassle of exchanging it. Thanks.
