Unable to get pass OK screen (Windows 2000 Server)
At the point where setup wizard prompts me to press 'OK' on the remote nothing happens. Has anyone run into this problem? Has anyone successfully installed the product under Windows 2000 Server? Thanks for any help.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is you might want to double check the batteries and/or try getting right on top of the receiver and see if it works.

twking can u check out the device manager for the receiver to make certain that the device is not banged out and that the drivers installed correctly?

I thought if you had ATI drivers installed the setup wizard would detect them and prompt removal?

Did you try to reboot your system after the initial installation? In the case where you have a remote wonder installed (and yes the Firefly installer will detect the drivers and tell you to remove them), after you uninstall them and continue through the installer, a reboot is sometimes required.
If you do reboot, go into Start -> Programs -> SnapStream Media -> Firefly -> Firefly Setup Wizard. Let us know whether any of this helps you with you with your problem. |

I have ATI software installed but it's for my graphics card. I assume this isn't the same thing as ATI remote Wonder software? What is the ATI remote wonder software??? Or were you guys referring to the Hauppauge software that came with my WinTV card? Should that be uninstalled?

Talking about the Remote Wonder software. Should be detected by the setup wizrad.
In your Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add remove Software if there is a reference to Remote Wonder Software, remove the software. Eric

OK no Remote Wonder software on my system.

I think the issue might be that you are using Win2K server and it currently has support for Win2K professional only. Let me see what involves getting support for Win2K server and get back to you on that.

Im having the same problem under Windows 2000 Pro. It will work on another computer runing win xp. But, I all my files and tuners are on my windows 2000 computer. Can anyone help!

Hi !
Im also unable to get pass my "OK" button but this happens on my XP SP2 machine. However on my laptop WIN2k pro it worked on the spot ! Must be something in my XP installation. I dont have remotewonder installed! Anyone got a tip what more to look for that could interfer with firefly comm? |

Hey Syra, do you have an ATI card on the machine that is not working? Does the device show up in device manager?
