Exit Fullscreen Hotkey ? The List?
I tried searching both in the forums and the Knowledge Database and can't find the answer.... maybe my search words were not explicit enough...
Regardless, I was wondering if there is a way to exit the Full Screen mode using girder (a hotkey) command other than the alt tab -f4 (which closes any program with focus). I need to be able to close BTV when PowerDVD is launched, but using the set Focus + exit program commands are unreliable as I have a dual monitor set-up and the focus is rarely on BTV. It works if Im not using any other programs (ie. IE) at the time, but this is not fail safe. Is there a list of ALL available hotkeys that can be used with BTV? such as "q = quiet", "e = on-screen program guide", etc. I'm sure there is, but I can't seem to find it at this moment.... Cheers, Treetop |

Re: Exit Fullscreen Hotkey ? The List?
sweet! Thanks Merrypig.
I had totally forgotten about the command lines... doh! That is exactly what I wanted it to do... it works like a charm. I knew there was a way, but was having a bit of a brain fart. Also, I thought the alt-f4 would close BTV regardless if it had focus or not, but I was having problems with it executing everytime... might have overlooked a setting. Doesn't really matter as Im not using it now due to your insight. Cheers and thanks again. Treetop edit: the entire reason I needed the gui to close was that it locked up the system when both were playing in FS as the same time. Doesn't always do this, but did it to my girlfriend when I was out of town, so I wanted to make sure that this wouldn't ever be a problem again. Last edited by Treetop; 05-12-2004 at 11:36 AM. |
