If you change your tuning interface to Directshow instead of Hauppuage WinTV PCI series, does this still crash still occur?

The site of hauppauge learned me that it would be better to use an older driver with the Theatre version of the card, so I did, and that fixed it
thanx anyway

It seems that i am unable to use the software (hangs on: start recording, hardware wizard,...) using the WDM driver of hauppauge, only with the standard mode driver. I am trying to use the latest beta driver, but i don't think that will work either.
On a windows 9x box it would be easy to use the regular driver because there is a nice beta that runs wel, but isn't compatible with NT-family (nt, 2k, xp) and the older driver has some nasty bugs. Anyway, I hope there is a way to use my Haupauge card with the WDM driver and this nice piece of software. |
