DishNetwork Hookup

Hello:

I have a Dishnetwork system with a 2700 Receiver.

How would I go about using the IR220L with http://www.shspvr.com/download/irtuner.tvr?

Where does the IR220L plug into? The Receiver or Computer?

Any details will be great Thanks!

The IR200L cable plugs in a com port.
Its business end, the IR emitter, goes in front of the Dish Network receiver. I have taped mine right next to the IR eye on the receiver after removing the clear plastic that covers it. That way I get perfect IR signal transmission.

DO NOT LOAD THE IR200L DRIVERS.

Also I believe that BTV now has a built in tvr file, so you don't need to bother with that. Just run the setup and select IR200L and Dish Network when prompted. (Haven't done that in such a long time!).

Let me know if you have any problems setting it up. I'll try and help.
Eric

If you don't already have a tuner, you may want to look at his offer:
