Best Quality Settings?

If space is no object what would the best quality levels be on the server listed below. I'm streaming mgeg over my wired network with no problem and show squeezing to wmv anything that needs to go over the wireless network so I'm not really worried about that.
Thanks

There have been a bunch of posts on different qualities. I have come to like the one in the "sage vs beyond TV" post. I put it in my post here about setting up BTV

You don't say, but if you have a digital program source, you probably do not need the noise reduction.

Thanks for the replys. I do NOT have a digital program source on my Snapstream box. I have a TIVO and am playing with this system until it is mature enough to replace my TIVO. It keeps getting closer but still not quite stable enough yet.

Well most people report that it doesn't have any effect for them, 20 percent is what was recomended, so i stuck with it, and haven't had any time to change it around and run some comparisons. The quality of the recordings kicked the crap out of my cable box, so I didn't see a reason to touch it. I would say since he was asking about quality and file size his main concern wouldn't be the noise reduction but instead resolution and bitrate.

I would say the best quality to record at would be to match the quality coming into your system. IE resolution and bitrate. I will leave that to the more AV savy as I am more on the computer end of the spectrum.

I did play with the noise reduction on the signal from my DirecTv receiver. It seemed to do nothing positive (which makes sense to me) and if set high enough seemed to blur or remove some fine detail (program items abrupt enough to look like a noise spike?).
