Fios TV Channel Lineup Change

Verizon Fios TV recently changed the channel lineup (2/20 for the Washington DC area), but BTV didn't seem to pickup the changes. The lineup changes are coming next for CA, FL and TX. Any idea on when this will get resolved? Thanks.

Re: Fios TV Channel Lineup Change

when concast changed its lineup last year when they added MASN, I had to delete the lineup and re-run the wizard. that revised the channel lineup.

Re: Fios TV Channel Lineup Change

Alrapp, I am also in NOVA area, and making the upgrade to HD recording thru clear QAM. I wondered if you solved the 'mapping' problem to build your HD lineup??? I am looking to streamline my mapping process if anyone can provide the list of codes from FIOS linked to the correct channel. the codes that I am talking about are the seemingly random sequence of numbers that appear under the video stream during my BTV install of my Hauppaauge 2250. It'll save me a ton of work trying to search my digital cable box in real-time, side-by-side my BTV setup to map the channels correctly. Much appreciated to any help you or anyone else can provide.

Mitch

Re: Fios TV Channel Lineup Change

UPDATE: BTV users can use the following link to download a fairly accurate clear QAM channel listing for multiple cable providers--i used it for verizon FIOS, but it is selectable for COMCAST, Cox cable, etc depending on location
http://www.silicondust.com/support/channels/
This tool significantly reduced my setup time. Recommend during the QAM mapping in BTV setup to mark corrections for your local area to the listing provided, and keep for future reference. Ensure you turn OFF the "auto detect lineup" setting to keep the mapping in tact. Good luck to all.

Thanks for posting this.

I have used this BTV for several years, and am hooked. I finally took the plunge and got a Silicon Dust QAM Cable Card device. I tried using the setup process to create the lineup. However I could not tell how to activate anything. Eventually the view button disappeared.

My question is how do I get the lineup from Silicondust's site imported into a lineup?

Re: Fios TV Channel Lineup Change

You do realize that Cable Card is not supported? You can get unencrypted QAM (locals) but nothing else.
