What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
I was just going through our recorded shows and found that we still have an episode of CSI from Jan 2009 on it. It's the last episode with Grissom.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
Archive - I've got Jericho episodes from 2006, I have Firefly and Wonderfalls ut most of that has been replaced with content off the DVD.
Current recordings, I've got some Dexter going back to 2007 I think I haven't gotten around to, a few from 2009 and 2010, otherwise most is less than a year old. Some stuff just gets filed away. I also have a bunch of Crusoe's from 2008 I probably will never get around to watching.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
Like ZetaVu I have the entire run of Firefly, but I don't know exactly when I recorded it, it wasn't the original run of coarse. The first time I recoded the episodes they were in SD, but when earlier this year they ran the entire series on the Science channel in HD I recorded them all again and replaced the SD recordings.
The oldest series I have and never watched is Big Love. I recorded the entire final season which started in January this year but I have still never watched it. I generally don't keep television shows, I watch and delete. Movies I keep, and I do have some movies that go back to 2007.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
My earliest recording is the January 5, 2006 airing of "My Name is Earl - Barn Burner"... I'm not proud of it, but hey, you asked.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
I recommend watching it, its better than most of what's on this season.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
As far as archived shows, I've been recording the "The Piano Guy" that go back to day 1 of my build. I think the only series we have archived is "Pushing Daisies", even though we bought the series on DVD. One of the best shows that got hurt from the writer's strike.

Hm looks like I might win...
Cut/Paste from screen shot... Office Space [Keep Until I Delete] A self-serving boss, petty annoyances and unbroken monotony dishearten a computer programmer and his co-workers. Written and directed by Mike Judge. 9/7/2003 6:00 PM I have a whole slew of movies from back in 2003.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
I have a few episodes of the original Iron Chef! series from the early 2000s, the next would be my wedding video (2004). The rest is all probably within a couple of weeks.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
EDIT- I stand corrected. the comedy routine by Eddie Izzard (Comedy central) called "Circle" was from 3/17/06. My oldest recording is "Invader Zim", 11/14/2004. I usually record new shows for the fall season and showsqueeze and keep them for a year or two to see if the show "makes it" before commiting to actually watching it. I'll delete if the show gets cancelled, or i'll try a few episodes when I feel like it. Most of my archives that I keep are comedy shows (remember creature comforts from BBC back in 2000, as well as robot chicken, greg the bunny (IFC redo not the original Fox version-I have that on VHS) and reruns of monty python), movies, recordings of performances, concerts, or documentaries of interest, and I also keep favorite commercials that I have to do some editing to create.

Re: What's your oldest recorded show still left on your DVR?
3.7.4 came out in 2004 I believe. 3.4 was 2003, I assume 1999 was PVR 2 or earlier. Forums started in July 2000 so not sure what SS had before then.
