Trouble with crashing with the Hauppauge PVR-250 MCE 'roslyn' card with BTV4

My computer keeps crashing with this card. This is my setup...

win XP, sp2! <-- notice, not mce.... is this ok?
pvr-250MCE 'roslyn' using 2.105.23064.0 drivers

does anyone have this setup working successfully? what drivers and version of btv are you using?
