Can't stream recorded shows

Hi guys,

I'm currently running a trial of BeyondTV 3.4 (Build 1334). I am using a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR250 (the retail version). Now I know I can't stream live television, but I'm supposed to be able to stream recorded WMV shows.

So I've tried recording several shows. Afterwards, the shows were "showsqueezed" to a WMV format.

Here's my problem: when connecting to http://localhost:1755, the browser hangs while it tries to connect to that port. However, after several minutes, I get a "server not found" error. I know this can't be a port forwarding problem since I'm trying to access the stream from the same computer. I have no firewall of any sort running on this machine (Win XP SP1).

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!
