Brent gets a mention in Chris Lanier's Blog

http://thegreenbutton.com/blogs/chri...09/213510.aspx

Congrats, Brent. He spelled your name incorrectly, of course. Please feel free to replace him. He generally has some interesting tidbits but I cringe whenever I read his posts because it seems like a monkey is typing them with the amount of typos most of them have. You would think for someone who has made his reputation with his writing he would actually proof read some of it.

Anyways, way to go Brent! You've hit the bit time.

Thanks Craig. I think that might be my first mention over at Chris Lanier's site so it's certainly nice to get the extra traffic. Chris has an undoubtledly Windows Media Center Focus, while still covering some topics of interest to HTPC users so I read that blog too. I try to keep my blog a little more broad covering HTPC's (with a focus on Beyond TV since that's what I know best), diy gadgets like converting older laptops into digital photo frames, music, movies, tv, useful websites etc. Anyway, it's always nice to know there are others visiting my site once in a while - when I first started it there were probably about 100 people visiting a day at the very most. Now I'm up to 500-1000+ a day so my blog doesn't make me feel like it's just me talking to myself quite as much now .

Thanks for noticing the link - even if Chris did spell my name a little wrong.

Brent

You would think I would, but for whatever reason I don't. Maybe it has something to do with this being completely a hobby that I do in my extra time. But yeah, I'm a horribible speller and teh wrose at using splell chekc. I'm working on it.

Anyway, sorry for the misspelling Brent, I fixed it a few hours ago. Keep up the good work. Since I've subscribed to your feed it has become one of the first ones I check in the morning.

Y'all are free to e-mail or comment when I make stupid mistakes. Keep up the good work.

Chris

Hi Chris. As I mentioned before no problem on the spelling thing. I of all people couldn't criticize on spelling (I live and die by the spell checker.) I have a pretty broad set of HTPC-centric sites I have in my Google Reader and yours was the second one I added just after some guy I can't remember at the moment (he was on meedio at one time and now is with MCE). Anyway thanks!

Brent

PS: For others reading this - If your interested in HTPC's, Chris's blog is an excellent place to keep up on things - especially in the Media Center world. My blog is MUCH younger, but I work on it a lot considering its a hobby. Links to my blog are in my sig of course

I'm clearly not perfect either. A little proofreading is all that I ask. Thanks for your interesting blog.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!! "bit time" either a very clever pun or a typo. I vote for the pun
