Music Classification

Hi,

I am doing initial setup and BeyondMedia found and classified my music files. Many are not correctly classified. How do I create new music genre and move music from one genre to another?

BM is highly intertwined with Windows Media Player (WMP). Your best bet is to go into Windows Media Player, select Library, and edit things there.

BM and Windows Media player are only as good at classifying your albums as the information stored in the tags on your MP3 files.

You can modify that information directly using the editor in WMP. But you can also just drag and album to another genre to change the associated files' tags without the hassle. When you're done, have both WMP and the BM re-search for music.
