Yup, the log files indicated that two different units could not start.
Used Silicon Dust's config and it couldn't find the units either.
Nothing was recording at the time, but the tuner lights on...

I have a Chromecast (was part of the Netflix 3 free months crowd) and an iPad 3. Youtube, HBOGO and Chrome all work great with it, I'm happy to say. :D

OK, I have a 500GB VelociRaptor installed. Now... should I just added as a folder and manually schedule the shows to it, or add it as a pool and let BTV manage it?

I didn't... the folder had video files from another source so I just removed the folder. I now just play those files through XBMC.

I just ran it again with each tuner tuned to a channel with a 92% signal strength... no reported errors.

I went with small-box with this pvr, so the MB only has one PCI slot, which is used for the eSATA card. The only alternative would be a USB-Ethernet option.
