I will try the setting.xml file when I get home tonight. Both the server and link machines have Nivida FX5200 chipsets with 128MB of memory and directx 9.0c

Yes, the video plays fine on the server. I checked the router again and the cable test displays 100Mps Full Duplex for both server and client. I do have smartskip generation turned on for off peak...

No, I am using the option to terminate the program after each recording now. I though there were still issues with FusionHDTV 3.6 picking up the "EARLY" settings from the xml file?

It almost seems like in 3.6 the EarlyStop works, but the EarlyAdd does not. Do you calculate the time based on this parameters or is the program suppose to just accept this parameters? I might try...
