Your most anticipated "comic book" movie?

Ok, here's the super-hero movie list that I know of so far that are either finished filming, or are projects in the works, some are due to air this year:

1) the new Batman movie "Dark Knight" - Christian Bayle as Batman, and the late Heath Ledger as the Joker

2) the Hulk "reboot" - "The Incredible Hulk" with Edward Norton playing Bruce Banner (If the trailer has any indication what the movie will be like, it will ROCK. Maybe Norton can save the Hulk franchise from getting a "curse" moniker!)

3) the introduction of Iron Man to the Big Screen! - "Iron Man" played by Robert Downey Jr.

4) Justice League - Tom Welling and Brandon Routh will not be playing Superman, nor will Christian Bayle be playing Batman according to insiders.

5) The Flash - I vote Neil Patrick Harris to play this one

6) Wonder Woman - Oh man... WHO to put in this role? Someone please lynch whoever suggests Angelina Jolie! Jessica Alba has Invisible Girl so she's out...

7) Captain America - Hmmm... Who'd be a good Cappy? He'd have to be someone pretty much in shape or athletic...

8) The Metal Men

9) Green Arrow - Brad Pitt with a blonde van-dyke and a green suit? Nahhhhh....

10) Teen Titans - hmmmm this one's a blank for me

11) Green Lantern (Hal Jordan's arguably my 2nd favorite comic book Hero after Superman!) - David Boreanaz of "Angel" and "Bones" fame. Hands down, I think would be the best one for that character. I could see him playing Hal Jordan.

12) Wolverine solo-film

13) The Avengers crossover film

FYI, Robert Downey's Iron Man will make a cameo in The Incredible Hulk...

I wouldn't mind seeing a Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy movie.

Re: Your most anticipated "comic book" movie?

I absolutely can't wait for Iron Man! It's always been one of my favorite comic books, and it looks like they have tried to stay pretty true with the movie. The trailers look incredible.

I'm intrigued by Justice League, that could be a lot of fun. How about Jessica Biel for Wonder Woman?

Also intrigued with The Flash. And yeah, Neil Patrick Harris could pull it off.

The Hulk has never really interested me, but if Iron Man will make a cameo then I might have to watch it.

I've always been a huge Batman fan but the movies have left me cold. No continuity, new 'suit' and Batmobile and actor every movie, uber-dark, etc. I still haven't seen the first one with Christian Bale yet, but I will eventually, probably. They just ruined it for me with the previous ones.

You forgot Tintin. Anybody remembers that one? Steven Speilberg is doing the first movie and Peter Jackson is doing the second.

Wow.... Iron Man grossed 100.1 million in it's first weekend alone... the sequel will be released in 2 years.

Re: Your most anticipated "comic book" movie?

I saw Iron Man Friday afternoon, and it was great! There were a few little things that bugged me of course, but nothing that took away from seeing IM on the big screen. They did a great job with it and I'm all in for a sequel.

They showed previews for both The Hulk and The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger plays the The Joker totally different than Nicholson did, which is to be expected, but it looks interesting.

Not so sure about The Hulk. The preview didn't look too bad, but I read in the paper that there are rumblings that the movie isn't very good. I've never been a huge Hulk fan anyway, so I'm not so sure about it.

Now bring on Indy!

Re: Your most anticipated "comic book" movie?

Iron Man was great even if you are not a comic book fan. So far it has been the most adult comic book to film adaptation.

So it's not exactly canon but it was great. The ending was really a surprise.

I can't get in to Batman or Spiderman. The CG Hulk sucked big time but I was influenced by the TV show. Anything should be better than the CG version.

So where is the Sub Mariner film?

Re: Your most anticipated "comic book" movie?

From what I understand, even the CG of the 2008 Hulk is just as bad as 2003 Hulk.

The watchman movie looks like it might be interesting. Not quite a superhero movie, but it might be pretty good.

Re: Your most anticipated "comic book" movie?

When I saw the trailer for Hancock, I was floored, FINALLY a super hero movie "spoof" that is not going to suck (Zoom, et al).

I love the part where he lands in the back of the gang-banger's suv and has a 40 in his hand lol

Watch Bones from tonight (Season Finale) and you'll see David Boreanaz reading in his bathtub: GREEN LANTERN

KOINKIDINK???? I think NOT!!!

Who wants to lay odds I'm right that he's going to be Green Lantern in 2010?!
