USB Portable Applications

I found a portable antivirus (its not realtime scanner). You can add it to your usb and use on computers not connected to the internet or without loading on your computer. I found it yesterday and used it and like it. There is a trick to get it to work on your usb but there is an older version which is already set.

Program: http://www.clamwin.com/

Trick for usb: http://www.clamwin.com/content/view/118/89/

Portable (right now older version): http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/clamwin_portable

I normally don't like using realtime scanners (or have it installed on my computer) because I like living on the wildside.

Have any of you have used it or have another antivirus program? How do you keep yourself protected? What other usefull programs can fit on a usb?

Re: USB Portable Anti-virus

I haven't used any of this stuff, but a google for Firefox Portable came up with more than I expected:
http://portableapps.com/

Edit- Duh, guess I should do more than just skim over a post before I say "Oh, I have something to contribute".

Re: USB Portable Anti-virus

Ok, I just found this large list on WIKI: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Portable_Software

I wish I could change the title to this thread to Portable Software apps for USB.

Update: I could, I DID!
